How Barb works
Barb searches through thrift shops and garage sales for old wool clothing and blankets to transform. She's even been known to peek in her friends' closets! Then she cuts them up and throws the wool pieces in the washing machine with hot water and dye — and the felting process begins! After creating the perfect color, Barb hauls her wool felt booty up to her studio in the Ferrer Gallery. Stop by and see her at work!
She creates a range of items from pillows and purses to framed wallhangings and table runners. Barb also has a line of embellishments, including wool scraps, trims and buttons, for stitchers and crafters to use in their own creations. Every piece she creates is original — what you see today may be gone tomorrow so check back frequently to see her latest work.
