As an artist, Dixie Frazier Aull Ferrer has always embraced nature and the tactile elements it offers, and an ethereal interpretation of the "Spirit of Life" is evident in her work. Traditional oils,  mixed media collage paintings, and mixed media sculpture are all used to communicate her passion.  In her collage paintings, a unique layering process is used combining a variety of painting, drawing, photography and printmaking techniques  with handmade papers and collage materials. Dixie  teaches her mixed media techniques to children and adults in her studio or a location of choice. Individual or group classes may be scheduled.
